We’ve Been Busy These Past Few Months

As many of you know, we’ve had lots of exciting changes happening recently over here at Pleasantries Adult Day Services! Our founder, Tammy Pozerycki, transitioned ownership in the fall to our new owner, Josh Obeiter, and ever since then, we’ve hit the ground running! We’ve added new staff members to our team, enhanced our program offerings and welcomed new guests to the Pleasantries family. And with the commitment to continued success, we dove into renovating our beloved space at the end of 2018 and are thrilled with how it turned out.

The Pleasantries difference is that we keep your loved ones “at home” with us by day, so you can get the respite needed to effectively care for your loved one by night. Our program has been and continues to be based in our idyllic, lakefront Marlborough home for the past 10+ years. Our focus is on creating a better day for everyone — families and guests alike. However, since the program was established in 2008, our 1970’s ranch while filled with smiles and fun, remained untouched, so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work!

We left no stone unturned! We ripped out mismatched flooring and carpeting, renovated the kitchen with double the prep space for baking and cooking, updated bathrooms, lighting and filled the space with new decor. Most significantly, we knocked down bedroom walls to create a large and inviting, multi-use activity space.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the new space for yourself yet, we’d love to have you in, and couldn’t be happier to share it with our families and community. At Pleasantries, our guests benefit from being in a stimulating and safe environment during the day. Our 1970’s home is now filled with soothing and inviting colors throughout, open spaces to accommodate even more guests, and an overall modern and refreshing transformation that our guests and staff have loved!
